In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities. 3. The petitioner is the headmaster at Sukdevpur Quazipara Milani Vidyapith. The petitioner had applied for transfer from the said school on the ground of distance. His application has, however, not been considered by the concerned authority. 4. Mr. Acharyya, learned Advocate appearing for the State and Mr. Mitra, learned Advocate appearing for the Central School Service Commission, conjointly submit that the application is not made to the school authority and had been made directly to the Commission, which is impermissible in law. 2 5. In view of the long lapse of time, the circumstances are likely to have changed, on account whereof, I direct the petitioner to make a fresh application to the appropriate authority, which shall be considered in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the application. 6. The application of November, 2025, made by the petitioner, not being in the prescribed form, will not be placed for consideration. 7. The suspension of ‘Utsashree Portal’ will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode. 8. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of. 9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
