This intra-court Appeal challenges the order dated 30.01.2026 passed by learned Single Judge whereby W.P.(C) No.10713/2024 instituted by the Respondent against the Order of Debarment dated 11.07.2024 (“Order of Debarment”) was allowed and Order of Debarment to the extent it debarred This is a digitally signed order. the Respondent from participating in the bids in respect of projects being tendered by Railways, Firozpur Cantt. was quashed.

We may note that by the Order of Debarment, the contract entered into between the Appellant and the Respondent was rescinded and the Respondent was debarred from participating in the bid for a period of two years from the date of issue of Order of Debarment. Since the two years period from the date of Order of Debarment has already come to an end on 10.07.2026, we are of the considered opinion that no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings of this Appeal which is accordingly hereby disposed of. The pending Application also stands
disposed of.
8. We also make it clear that the questions of law which may have arisen in the present Appeal are kept open to be decided in future in some other appropriate matters.
