Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that 220 bottles of Wincorex cough syrup were recovered from the joint possession of three persons including the petitioner. Learned advocate candidly submits that after charges having been framed, seven witnesses have been examined out of the proposed twelve witnesses. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the trial is towards the verge of completion. In view of the present stage of the case, I direct the learned Trial Court to complete the evidence of prosecution witnesses within a period of four months. In case, the court is unable to conclude the evidence of the prosecution witnesses, in spite of cooperation extended 2 by the petitioner and rest of the accused persons, within the time period, mentioned above, the learned Trial Court would be at liberty to release the petitioner on bail. With the aforesaid observations, the application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 437 of 2026, is disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
