JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioners are before this Court seeking the following prayers: "WHEREFORE, the Petitioners are most respectfully prays that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue direction to Hon'ble IV ACMM, Bengaluru to dispose the matter earlier in C.C.No.5696/2008, for alleged offences under section 120(B), 406, 420, 177, 202, 209, 506(B), R/w 34 of IPC, pending on the file of the IV Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Bengaluru, against the petitioners and further be pleased to pass any order commensurating with the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of Justice and Equity." 2. Heard Sri.Akram Pasha K, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and have perused the material on record. 3. The petition arises out of a private complaint registered 21 years ago in P.C.R.No.4682/2005. The matter was referred for investigation. The police after investigation have filed a 'B' report. The concerned Court rejects the 'B' report and takes cognizance and registers C.C.No.5696/2008. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11231 CRL.P No. 9507 of 2024 Therefore, the matter is now pending for last 17 years and the issue is for offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code inter alia. 4. Therefore, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to conclude the proceedings in C.C.No.5696/2008 within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, if not earlier, in accordance with law.
