Heard learned counsel for petitioner. Learned counsel for respondent remained absent. 3. This petition is filed by wife for transfer of divorce petition in MC No.5942/2025 filed by the husband for divorce from the court of the IV Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru to the Principal Family Judge Court, at Mysuru in which the petitioner had filed C.Misc No.81/2026 and is pending. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17935 CP No. 46 of 2026 4. It is stated that the marriage between the petitioner and respondent was solemnized in the year 2022 and out of the wedlock, they were blessed with a male child in the year 2023 and presently the child is aged 3 years and staying with the petitioner. Petitioner/wife is residing along with her parents at Mysore and she is not working and earning. Whereas, respondent is working in Cisco Company and earning and is also having own properties at Bangalore and getting rental income. The distance between Mysore and Bangalore is 150 kilometers. The Petitioner had also filed C.Misc No.81/2026 before the Principal Family Court at Mysore. It is stated that it is inconvenient for her to travel along with the child to Bangalore. 5. Therefore, considering the reasons stated by the petitioner, this Court finds it reasonable to transfer MC No.5942/2025 from the court of the IV Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru to the Principal Family Judge Court, at Mysuru. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17935 CP No. 46 of 2026 Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
