Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:- 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, submitted by the petitioner dated 30.06.2021 and 28.03.2025 for conclusion of his probation period, within a time-bound manner as may be deemed just and proper by this Hon’ble Court. 10.2 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to take an appropriate decision regarding issuance of formal order for completion of the probation period of the petitioner. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/reliefs in favor of the petitioner, which the Hon’ble Court deemed fit & just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner who is appointed as Medical Officer vide order dated 10.06.2014 has successfully completed his probation period however, till date even after completion of his probation period petitioner is not confirmed in service against which petitioner has submitted representation before respondent no. 5 and sent the copy to respondent no. 3. However till date no order has been passed of his confirmation. Therefore, direction be issued to respondents to consider and take decision on the representation at the earliest, within specified time frame. 3 / 3 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, he is having no objection. He however submits that the application has not been submitted by petitioner before the competent authority. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he may be permitted to submit fresh representation before respondent no. 2 and direction be issued to respondent no. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by petitioner at the earliest. 5. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievances raised and limiter prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, permitting petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation before respondent no. 2 and 3 and in the event petitioner submit such representation it shall be considered and decided on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of the representation. 6.
