The contention of the petitioners is that some of the land, which was recorded in their name, has wrongly been entered into the name of PWD as the same land was acquired for construction of road. It is also contended that since some of the plots have been entered into name of PWD, therefore, officers of PWD are harassing the petitioners stating that they are encroaching in the land of PWD and they may be evicted. 4. It is further contended that petitioners have moved a representation dated 24.12.2024 for correction of this error before the SDM, Chakrata, District Dehradun. 5. SDM, Chakrata is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners, after giving opportunity of hearing to all the parties, in accordance with law, positively within a period of four weeks from today. 6. No coercive action shall be taken against the petitioners till decision is taken on petitioner’s application. 7. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. (Alok Mahra J.)
