Das, ASC COROM: JUSTICE BIRAJA PRASANNA SATAPATHY Order No ORDER 18.05.2026 01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode. 2. Heard learned counsel for appearing for the Parties. 3. The present Writ Petition has been filed inter alia with the following prayer:- ““Under the aforesaid circumstances morefully narrated herein above the petitioner most humbly prays that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a RULE NISI calling upon the 0pp. Parties to show-cause as to why the 0pp. Parties particularly OPSC (O.P.3)shall not be directed to up- grade of the rank of the petitioner in the merit list under ANNEXURE-6 published by the OPSC vide Notice No.6829/PSC dated 12.09.2018 keeping in view of the ratio decided by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 04.01.2024 in the case of Dr. Debi Prasad Kund -vs.- State of Odisha & others [W.P.(C) (OA) No.1430 of 2019] within a short stipulated period and accordingly direct the State Govt. i.e. O.P. Nos. 1 & 2 to fix the seniority of the petitioner in appropriate place; If the 0pp. Parties fail to show-cause or show insufficient cause, the Rule may be made absolute.” 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-14 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period. 5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted representation in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 6.
