JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have given representation to respondent – Assistant Director of Land Records, Srirangapatna Taluk, for phodi and durasth of their lands in Sy.No.464/C, 464/D and 464/E, measuring 2.00 Acres each, all situated at Gamanahalli village, Arakere Hobli, Srirangapatna Taluk. Learned Counsel submits that appropriate directions may be given to the concerned respondents to carry out the phodi and durasth. 2. Learned Additional Government Advocate however submits that normally this Court would direct the parties to file online application for phodi and durasth. However, in respect of granted lands, since the phodi and the durasth have to be conducted simultaneously in respect of all the granted lands, sufficient time may be required to complete the process. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits on instructions that the Sy.No.464 of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12614 WP No. 5469 of 2026 Gamanahalli village, Srirangapatna Taluk, comprises of more than 22 Acres and 14 Guntas of lands and several grants have been made in the said survey number. Therefore, sufficient time will have to be granted to the respondents to complete the phodi and durasth. 3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Srirangapatna Taluk and respondent No.3-Assistant Director of Land Records, Srirangapatna, to complete the process of phodi and durasth, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
