Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the communication/rejection dated 28.08.2026 issued by Respondent No.3, whereby permission for the Petitioners' proposed peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar on 06.09.2026 has been refused; B. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to grant permission to the Petitioners to hold the proposed peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, on 06.09.2026 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., subject to such reasonable conditions as this Hon'ble Court may deem appropriate; C. In the alternative, direct the Respondents to reconsider the Petitioners' application dated 27.08.2026 afresh, in accordance with Standing Order No. L&O/48/2022 and the law governing Articles 19(1)(a) and 19(1)(b), and pass a reasoned and speaking order within 24 hours or within such time as this Hon'ble Court may deem appropriate; D. Allow the Petitioner to conduct the peaceful demonstration on 20.09.2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM., subject to any condition that the Hon’ble Court may deem fit; E. Pass an order permitting the Petitioner to conduct the aforesaid peaceful demonstration on 06.09.2026 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., subject to any condition that the Hon’ble court may deem fit...” 4. Issue notice. 5. The learned counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of respondents accepts notice. 6. This Court has heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned ASG appearing for respondent nos. 2 and 3. 7. As far as prayers A, B, C and E concerned, concededly, they have been rendered infructuous. 8. In these circumstances, let the respondents consider the prayer of the petitioner in this regard and decide it as per law, including considering imposition of any conditions, which are deemed appropriate as per law, if permission is granted. 10. Let a fresh application be filed in this regard by the petitioner before the appropriate authority for conducting the peaceful demonstration on 20.09.2026, which will be decided expeditiously, within a week from date, under intimation to the petitioner. 11.
