This is a petition filed by the petitioner in public interest seeking inter alia a direction to the respondents to establish a cricket ground/stadium on the land that, as per the petitioner, stands already transferred to the Department of Youth Services & Sports in terms of several orders passed by Government as well as the Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri. It seems that prior to the filing of this petition, the petitioner had approached this Court with a similar grievance by way of WP(C) PIL 14/2025 which was disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities with his grievance. 2. The petitioner submits that in compliance with the order dated 15th December, 2025 passed by this Court, he filed a detailed representation before the Commissioner Secretary to the Govt, Department of Youth Services & Sports on 20th February, 2026. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation is pending before the respondents since February, 2026 and no decision thereon has been taken. 3. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case and the nature of the relief prayed for, this petition is disposed of with the direction to the Commissioner Secretary to Govt. Department of Youth Services & Sports to consider and take appropriate decision on the detailed representation made by the petitioner on 20th February, 2026 and pass a speaking order, a copy whereof shall be conveyed to the petitioner. 4. Let the needful be done within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order is served to the Commissioner Secretary concerned. 5. Disposed of.
