JUSTICE P SREE SUDHA ORAL ORDER This transfer petition is filed by petitioner/wife for transfer of divorce application filed by respondent/husband in MC No.100 of 2024 before the Court of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Kunigal on 22.11.2024 to the Principal/Additional Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, since she is residing in Bangalore along with her parents. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner/wife is suffering from cancer and produced medical record to substantiate her version and she also filed Criminal Miscellaneous No.3/2025 for maintenance before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Traffic Court- III at Bengaluru. Further, it is stated that she cannot travel in view of her health condition and the distance between Bengaluru and Kunigal is approximately 74 kms. Therefore, he prays to transfer the aforesaid matrimonial - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7334 CP No. 390 of 2025 case which is pending before the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Kunigal to the Principal/Additional Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru. 3. Heard and perused the records. 4. On perusal of records, this Court finds it appropriate to transfer MC No.100 of 2024 before the Court of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Kunigal to the Principal/Additional Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru.
