THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER It is the contention of the petitioner that one Sri K.V. Ramaiah acquired 5 guntas of land in Sy. Nos.9/1A and 6/2A situated at Singanayakanahalli Village, Yelahanka Hobli, Bangalore North Taluk under registered partition deed dated 28.07.1952. The said Sri K. V. Ramaiah sold the property in favour of the petitioner's father on 18.12.1978. In the year 2003, the name of the petitioner's father was entered in the revenue records in proceedings bearing No.RRT (VIVADA) 24/1998-99. 2. On the demise of the petitioner's father, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent- - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8053 WP No. 3003 of 2026 Tahsildar to mutate and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records on the basis of succession. However, the Tasildar has not passed any orders in that regard and therefore the petitioner is before this court seeking necessary directions to the Tasildar. 3. Today, the learned Additional Government Advocate submits on instructions that if a fresh representation is given by the petitioner, the Tahsildar will consider the same and pass necessary orders in accordance with law. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the first respondent-Tahsildar, Bangalore North Taluk, to consider and treat this writ petition itself as a representation. Thereafter, the Tahsildar shall look into the aspects of the legal heir of late Sri Mohammed Raffi, who is the khatedar, issue notice to all concerned and after he has satisfied himself, he shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner and any other legal heirs, as the case may be in the revenue records, in - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8053 WP No. 3003 of 2026 accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
