Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on written instructions, submitted that in the above crime the police have conducted investigation and filed charge sheet, which was taken on file as PRC No.24 of 2023 on the file of the learned I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Macherla. After committal, it was numbered as SC No.120 of 2024 and made over the case to the Court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Gurazala for trial and, in view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the Criminal Petition and the matter has become infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if he is so advised.
