Having regard to the impugned endorsement at Annexure-L issued by respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Kunigal Taluk, it is clear that the grant made in favour of Sri.Basavaiah S/o Giridasaiah, the father of the petitioners, was only a temporary grant under the 'Grow More Food Scheme'. However, it is clear that a permanent grant has not been made by the competent authority and therefore the Tahsildar has rightly rejected the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14701 WP No. 6159 of 2026 representation given by the petitioners to enter and continue the name of the original grantee in the computerized RTC or to enter the names of the petitioners by way of mutation on the ground of succession. The petitioners are required to approach the competent authority and seek a permanent grant. 3. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. Ordered accordingly.
