THE STATE OF N.C.T. OF DELHI, & ANR. .....Respondents Through: Mr. Nawal Kishore Jha, APP for the State with SI Suman
R-2 in person.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE GIRISH KATHPALIA
O R D E R %
07.09.2026
1. Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 743/2022 of Police Station Jagat Puri, Shahdara District for offence under Section 376 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no. 2) has settled the dispute with the petitioner.
2. Learned APP assisted by SI Suman accepts notice and strongly opposes the petition on the ground that the present respondent no. 2 has already been examined in chief before the trial court and she has supported the prosecution case.
3. That being so, learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions from her client, seeks permission to withdraw this petition.
4. As requested, this petition and the accompanying application are dismissed as withdrawn.
