1. The present petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the
order dated 10th November, 2017, passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 2676/2017, titled as Chand Kaur Versus Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Ors, wherein, directions were issued in the following manner:

2. The main dispute on account of which the present petition has been filed is the allegation on behalf of the petitioner that the respondent has not contributed in the bills pertaining to the medical expenses for treatment of the parties’ mother.
3. There are various bills, which have been placed on record by the petitioner, with regard to the purchase of medicines for treatment, and for engagement of home care for taking care of the mother of the parties.
4. This Court notes that the respondent disputes the said bills.
5. Accordingly, this Court cannot go into disputed questions of fact.

showing admission date 19th June, 2018, and discharge date 16th July, 2018, has not been disputed by the respondent.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent has drawn the attention of this Court to the receipt dated 15th July, 2018, to submit that the respondent paid a sum of Rs. 50,000/- to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital directly towards the treatment of the mother.
9. In terms of the order dated 10th November, 2017, both the parties, who are brothers, had to share the expenses towards the medical bill in equal proportion.

10. This Court notes that vide order dated 02nd May, 2025, it had been recorded as follows:

11. This Court is informed that the aforesaid amount of Rs. 2,36,554/- already stands deposited by the respondent with the Registry of this Court.
12. Accordingly, the Registry of this Court is directed to release the said amount along with accrued interest in favour of the petitioner or his authorized representative.
13. The petitioner or his authorized representative shall approach the Registry in this regard.
14. As regards the other amounts which the petitioner has claimed, as the said amounts have been disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek remedies in accordance with law.
15. Needless to state, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claims as raised by the petitioner, which are disputed by the respondent.
