1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs.

“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash or set aside the promotion and posting order dated 22.01.2026 (Annexure-P/1) issued by the respondent Joint Director, School Education Raipur Division, Chhattisgarh, only to the extent of the place of posting, whereby, the petitioner has been posted at Government Middle School Golamal, Block Mainpur, District: Gariyaband, while leaving the promotion of the petitioner to the post of Head Master (Middle School) intact and unaffected. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to post the petitioner on the post of Head Master (Middle School) against any one of the vacant posts available within Block Nagri, District: Dhamtari, as reflected in the vacancy list issued by the Block Education Officer, Nagri (Annexure-P/8) and existing on the date of counselling, in accordance with the policy dated 29.10.2025 issued by the Deputy Director, Public Education, Chhattisgarh. 10.3 That, Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent State to grant any other relief which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in favour of the petitioner as per the facts & circumstances of the present case, in the ends of justce.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that vide order dated 22.01.2026, petitioner is promoted from the post of Teacher to Head Master (Middle School) is posted to Government Middle School, Golamal, Block: Mainpur, District: Gariyaband. He further submits that the petitioner is facing difficulty to join the promoted place of posting and has submitted an application before the Respondent No. 3, assigning the reasons and also mentioning about the vacant place for her posting, which is pending consideration.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the challenge to the
order Annexure-P/1 is not a transfer but is a posting on promotion.
3 / 3 However, he submits that the petitioner has already submitted representation, it is stated to pending consideration and it would be considered in accordance with law.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents.

On due consideration of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, and having regard to the nature of the grievance raised, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage by directing Respondent No. 3 to take a decision on the said representation, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the
order passed by this Court. It is ordered accordingly.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation and direction.
