This is a bail application U/S.483 of BNSS by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Astarang PS Case No.21 of 2024 corresponding to GR Case No.139 of 2024 pending in the file of learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Nimapara for commission of offences punishable U/Ss.395/120-B/459/412 of IPC r/w Sec.27 & 25(6) of Arms Act on the main allegation of committing dacoity from the house of the informant and taking away gold ornaments and valuables. 3. Heard Mr. Anil Kumar Dalai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M.R. Patra, learned Addl. PP in the matter and perused the record. 4. After having considered the rival submissions and taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offences as alleged against the petitioner vis-à-vis the accusation sought to be brought against him and regard being had to the materials placed on record p. 2 together with the identification of the petitioner in TI parade and taking into account his criminal antecedents in six criminal cases and keeping in view the progress of trial, but the examination of the identifying witness being awaited, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5. Hence, the bail application of the petitioner stands rejected. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of. 6. Issue urgent certified copy of the order as per Rules.
