JUSTICE BUDI HABUNG ORDER 08.01.2026 Heard Mr. Nyasam Jongsam, petitioner in person. Also heard Ms. Somila, learned counsel for the respondent. The petitioner in person submits that inadvertently, instead of marking his affidavit-in-evidence in the election petition, he marked an affidavit-in- opposition. This Court, on 05.01.2026, upon prayer being made, allowed the petitioner in person to amend the same by filing an interlocutory application. By filing this interlocutory application under Order VI Rule 17, 1A read with Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, the petitioner has prayed for striking off the words “affidavit-in-opposition” by accepting the amended evidence in the form of an affidavit of the election petitioner, to which Ms. Somila, learned counsel for the respondent, raised no objection. The prayer is allowed. In terms of the above, this interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
