For the respondent: Mr. D.N.Sharma, Advocate. Romesh Verma, Judge (oral) In sequel to the order dated 22.07.2026, both the parties are present in the Court. 2. During the course of interaction with the parties, the respondent Sh. Joginder Singh @ Bittoo has agreed to pay the entire decretal amount to the tune of Rs. 2,50,000/- along with interest @ 6% per annum to the present petitioner on or before 30th September 2026. The said proposal of the respondent is not opposed by the present petitioner. The respondent has separately recorded his statement. 3. Consequently, in view of the statement as made by the respondent, the present petition is closed with the direction to the respondent to abide by his statement and to pay the decretal 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- along with interest @ 6% per annum to the petitioner on or before 30th September 2026, failing which, he shall be liable to be punished under the provisions of Contempt of Courts Act. 4.
