Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 1½ years and till date there has been no progress in the case, as such, on any stringent conditions the petitioner may be released on bail. Learned advocate for the State produces the case diary and drawn the attention of the Court to the medical report of the two victims. I have analysed the same and I am of the view that this is not a fit case for granting bail. It has also been submitted on behalf of the State that charges have been very recently framed. 2 Consequently, I direct the learned special court to expedite the process of witness action.
