Mr. Ajit Sharma, Deputy Advocate General, for the respondent-State. Cr.MP(M) No. 1364 of 2026 Present application has been filed for condonation of delay in filing the revision. It has been submitted that the applicant is in Jail and he could not know about the dismissal of the appeal. He was unable to engage a counsel due to poverty. He filed an application before the H.P. High Court Legal Services Committee and legal aid counsel was provided to him. However, learned Legal Aid Counsel was out of station due to some medical emergency. Therefore, it was prayed that the present application be allowed. No reply to the application is to be filed. Heard. The fact that applicant is in Jail is duly supported by the Power of Attorney submitted by Superintendent, Jail, Lala Lajpat Rai District & Open-Air Correctional Home, Dharamshala, District Kangra, H.P. The Legal Aid Counsel was provided to him which supports the fact that he was unable to engage a counsel on his own expenses. In view thereof, the present application is allowed and the delay in filing the revision is ordered to be condoned. Application stands disposed of. Cr. Revision (ST) No. 2649 of 2026 Since the delay in filing the revision petition has been ordered to be condoned vide separate order passed in Cr.MP(M) No. 1364 of 2026, the present petition be registered. Notice. Mr. Ajit Sharma, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent-State.
