This is an ofÏce reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 18.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 3743 of 2024, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, Umashankar Pandey, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 18.07.2024. 4. The learned Additional Sessions Judge, F.T.C. Jagdalpur, District- KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 Bastar (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 05.02.2026 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the proceedings of the present case were kept in abeyance pursuant to the order dated 09.07.2025 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CRMP No. 2057/2025 (XXX vs. State of Chhattisgarh & Another), and therefore, the trial could not proceed during the said period in compliance with the directions of a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. It is further revealed that upon receipt of the subsequent order dated 02.02.2026 passed in the aforesaid matter, the case has now been fixed for final arguments. Accordingly, due to the earlier stay of proceedings and the time consumed in awaiting further orders from the Court, the trial Court respectfully seeks extension of time to conclude the trial and undertakes to pass the final order expeditiously. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
