For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 04/23.03.2026 Despite the order dated 24.02.2026, no counter affidavit has been filed and the FSL report has also not yet been brought on record. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Kolebira P.S. Case No. 48/2024. The petitioner was suspected to have committed the murder of elder brother of the informant. It appears that the deceased was last seen with the petitioner. It further appears that on the confessional statement of the petitioner, a Tangi was recovered from the place of occurrence as well as a blood-stained shirt from the house of the petitioner. Out of 07 charge sheet witnesses, only one witness has been examined so far. However, in view of the strong circumstance which emanates from the recovery of the incriminating articles as noted above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
