Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the issue raised in the present petition is squarely covered by the judgment passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in CWP 8148 of 2022, titled, Yashwant Kumar vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and Others and connected petitions, decided on 21.03.2024. 1 Whether the reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Learned Additional Advocate General submits that in case it is so, he does not have any objection if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner strictly in terms of the decision passed by this Court in the aforementioned judgment passed in Yashwant Kumar's case (supra). Learned counsel for the petitioner has also placed on record representation dated 13.03.2026 (Annexure P-5), which is still pending consideration before respondent No. 2. 4. Since this Court has already adjudicated upon the issue raised in the present petition, rather than considering the merits of the present writ petition afresh, a direction is given to the respondents to decide the representation made by the petitioner. 5. Consequently, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 13.03.2026 (Annexure P-5) within a period of six weeks and in case the claim raised by the petitioner in the present petition is covered by the judgment passed in Yashwant Kumar’s case (supra), same and similar benefits shall be extended to the petitioner within a period of two months thereafter.
