This appeal is directed against the order dated 19.03.2026 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 452/2026 by Sri Abhimanyu Kumar, Exclusive Special Judge, N.I.A at Ranchi in connection with Special NIA Case No. 03/2018 arising out of RC 06/2018/NIA/DLI, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.
It has been submitted by Mr. Srinivasan, learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant is in custody since
25.10.2018. It has been submitted that the present case is the third case instituted by the NIA and the appellant has been implicated with identical vague allegations of being a Member/Regional Commander of T.P.C. In the other two cases, the appellant has already been granted bail by this Court. Mr. Srinivasan has submitted that the maximum sentence as per the statute in the various offences have already been completed by the appellant. Reference has also

been made to the fact that some of the co-accused persons have been granted bail on account of the long incarceration in custody.
Mr. Amit Kumar Das, learned Spl. P.P.- NIA has submitted that the trial has already been concluded and the defence argument has ended. He has also submitted that the prayer for bail of some of the co-accused have also been rejected by this Court.
On consideration of the submission advanced by learned Spl. P.P.-NIA that the trial has already concluded, we are not inclined to entertain this appeal which accordingly stands dismissed.
