By way of instant application, prayer has been made on behalf of the applicant/respondent for issuance of direction to the Registry of this Court to release the amount lying deposited with it in the case at hand. Careful perusal of judgment dated 01.04.2026 passed by this Court in Cr. Revision No.768 of 2024, titled Rajinder Kumar Bushehri vs. Shyama Nand Sharma, reveals that this Court, while dismissing the Criminal Revision Petition filed by the petitioner-accused, directed the Court below to release the amount, if any deposited before it by the accused, on filing appropriate application by the complainant. However, subsequently it transpired that the petitioner-accused has deposited the amount in the Registry of this Court and as such, respondent-complainant has approached this Court by way of instant application, seeking therein direction, as has been taken note hereinabove. In view of the above, the application is allowed and Registry of this Court is directed to release the amount lying deposited with it in favour of the applicant/ respondent/complainant, by remitting the same in his saving bank account, details whereof has been given in para-7 of the application, subject to verification by the Accounts Branch.
