The petitioner is the widow of an employee of the Indian Bank who was compulsorily retired from service in the year 2015 and who expired in the year 2024. 2. According to the widow, certain service dues of her husband have not been paid by the Bank. A detailed representation dated 30th June, 2025 has been addressed to the authorities of the Bank. Grievance is that the same has not been considered till date. 3. Learned advocate representing the Bank submits, upon instruction, that the dues of the employee which were found payable have already been disbursed in favour of the widow. As on date, no amount is due and payable to the employee. 2 4. Be that as it may, as it appears that a formal representation seeking release of the dues of the employee is pending consideration before the Bank, accordingly, the Court is not inclined to enter into the claim of the petitioner at this stage. 5. The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the respondent no.6, being the Chief Manager, Indian Bank, to consider the representation filed by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 6. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner accordingly. 7. The aforesaid respondent shall clearly indicate the dues, if any, payable to the employee and disburse the same without any further delay. 8. If the claim of the petitioner is not accepted by the Bank, then the reason for non-acceptance of the same shall also be disclosed. 9. The writ petition stands disposed of. 10. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 3 11.
