Having considered that seven witnesses have been relied upon by the prosecution, I direct the learned trial court to proceed with the stage of consideration of charges and, at least, make substantial progress within the next six months so far as the trial is concerned. Considering the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. 2 Accordingly, CRM(R) 27 of 2026 is dismissed.
