1. The limited request in the present petition is to issue necessary directions to the learned Trial Court to expedite the matter in a time-bound manner.
2. The petitioner herein is one of the complainants and FIR in question was registered in the year 2017 on the basis of complaint made by her and her husband.

4. The next date before the learned Trial Court is stated to be 16.09.2026.
5. According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter is getting delayed merely for the reason that the concerned Investigating Officer is not rendering due assistance to the learned Trial Court.
6. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent/State submits that the Investigating Officer is present today also and assures that on the next date of hearing i.e. 16.09.2026, he would appear before the learned Trial Court and would render requisite assistance to the learned Trial Court to enable the Court to proceed further with the matter, in accordance with law.
7. Evidently, the matter has already got delayed considerably.
8. Be that as it may, the present petition is, hereby, disposed of with request to the learned Trial Court to expedite the ascertainment of charges and, preferably, to decide the same within the period of three months from the date it takes up the matter.
9. Needless to emphasize, both the sides shall render due assistance and cooperation to learned Trial Court in this regard.
10. The concerned Investigating Officer, who is present in Court, is
directed to appear before the learned Trial Court on the abovesaid date.
11. The petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
12. It is, however, clarified that this Court has not touched the merits of the case and it will be entirely upto the learned Trial Court to hear arguments and to proceed further with the matter, in accordance with law without being prejudiced by any of the observation made hereinabove.
