Petitioner, through the medium of this petition, invokes the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court in terms of Article 227 of Constitution of India and seeks direction to the Court of learned City Judge, Jammu for the speedy adjudication of the application seeking permission for making necessary repairs in the portion possessed by the petitioner herein, pending disposal in case titled, “Surinder Kumar Mahajan Vs. Vinay Kumar Mahajan & Ors”. 02. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application seeking permission for making necessary repairs was moved in the month of July, 2025 and objections to the application have also been filed by the other side, however, the trial Court has not decided the Serial No. 169 2 application and that the petitioner has the urgency in the matter as his son is getting married in the near future and prays that direction be passed to the trial Court for speedy disposal of the application. 03. In view of the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner and submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, without issuance of notice to the other side, the instant petition is disposed of, with a direction to the trial Court to decide the interim application moved by the applicant/defendant for permission to carry out repairs of the portion of the suit house under his possession, expeditiously. 04.
