Case No. 192 of 2025, registered under Sections 21(b), 22(b), 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that intermediary quantity of brown sugar alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 26.10.2025, having no criminal antecedent. Petitioner undertakes to co-operate in investigation and trial of the case and also abide by all terms and conditions which may be imposed in the matter of granting bail to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner may be extended the privilege of bail. 3. Learned Addl.P.P appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 4. Considering the fact that only 8.5 gm brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the quantity falls within intermediary quantity and also the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, I am inclined to release the above-named petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- 2026:JHHC:5063 (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal & District Sessions Judge- cum-Spl.
