Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The case of the petitioner is that the respondents are proceeding with promotions to the post of Associate Professor of Pediatrics pursuant to the final eligibility/seniority list dated 29.01.2026, without considering the objections/representation dated 30.01.2026 submitted by the petitioner. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents had initially prepared a provisional seniority list for the post of Associate Professor of Pediatrics for the panel year 2025–2026, on 08.09.2025, wherein the petitioner was placed at Serial No.08. However, in the final seniority list dated 23.10.2025, the petitioner has been placed at Serial No.30, and certain juniors to the petitioner have been placed above him. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner submitted objections/representation dated 30.01.2026 to the respondent authorities. However, without considering the objections raised by the petitioner, the respondents are proceeding further with the promotion process. 5. Considering the above, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities, more particularly the 4th respondent, to consider the objections/representation dated 30.01.2026 submitted by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE D RAMESH Date: 19.02.2026 M K K 271 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE D.RAMESH WRIT PETITION NO: 4875 of 2026 Date: 19.02.2026 M K K
