It is the contention of the petitioner that the Committee for Regularisation of Unauthorised Occupation based on a resolution dated 02.03.2018 has granted 1 acre and 12 guntas of land in Sy.No.88 situated at Basavenahalli Village, Soluru Hobli, Magadi Taluk to the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20460 WP No. 10945 of 2026 petitioner. An Official Memorandum was issued by the Tahsildar as found at Annexure -B dated 18.05.2018 and Annexure-C is the receipt for having paid the Kimmat of Rs.1,440/-. Learned counsel submits that the lands in question are now within the jurisdiction of Nelamangala Taluk and directions are required to be issued to the Tahsildar, Nelamangala Taluk to issue Saguvali Chit to the petitioner and thereafter enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 – Tahasildar, Nelamangala Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexure-A dated 18.07.2023, verify the records and find out whether the petitioner was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of the petitioner, the Tahasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit and enter his name in the land records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali chit.
