Learned counsel for the respective parties in unison would submit that the couple were before the concerned family Court in M.C.No.7265/2024, wherein, the wife has withdrawn the petition and have arrived at settlement on certain terms and conditions that the couple would reunite and lead a happy life. The parties are before this Court seeking permission to compound the offences. The dispute between the parties that the daughter of the 1st petitioner has filed the complaint against the 2nd respondent and his family members. It is pertinent to mention here that a case in Crime No.11/2025 is registered by the 1st respondent based on the complaint of the daughter of the 1st petitioner. Challenging the said FIR two cases have been filed before this Hon'ble Court in Crl.P.No.1927/2025 and 1758/2025. Against the registration of the crime in No.53/2024 based on the complaint of the 1st petitioner herein, the son of the 2nd respondent filed petition before this Hon'ble Court in Crl. Petition No.1922/2025. The present case is filed by challenging the registration of the proceedings in C.C.No.1217/2025 arising out of the Crime No.54/2024. 2. The 1st petitioner and the 2nd respondent submit that Smt. Lakshmi @ Grandham Lakshmi is the daughter of the 1st petitioner and Sri. Grandham Venkatesh is the son of the 2nd respondent herein. The 2nd respondent had filed the divorce petition in M.C.No.7265/2024 and the same was disposed of as it is withdrawn by the son of 2nd respondent. The daughter of the 1st petitioner and the son of the 2nd respondent have joined together and decided to lead happy married life and accordingly, they are intending to withdraw all the cases filed against each other. In view of the reason stated above the 2nd respondent herein has no objection to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.1217/2025 arising out of Crime No.54/2024 pending on the file of learned VI Additional Civil Judge & JMFC, Mysore for the offences punishable - 11 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13531 CRL.P No. 1758 of 2025 C/W CRL.P No. 1922 of 2025 CRL.P No. 1927 of 2025 AND 1 OTHER under sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(2), 2(5) of the BNS, 2023 registered by the 1st respondent. I submit that I am the 2nd respondent and I know the facts of the case. 2. I submit that the son of the 1st petitioner herein had filed the divorce petition in M.C.No.7265/2024 against me and at the intervention of elders both of us joined together and decided to lead happy married life. Accordingly, the said divorce petition filed by the son of the 1st petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn by the learned I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, on 07.02.2026. 3. I submit that in view of the above, I have no objection to allow this petition and consequently to quash the FIR and complaint in Crime No.11/202 registered by the 1st respondent police. I submit that the 1st petitioner herein had filed the divorce petition in M.C.No.7265/2024 against my daughter and at the intervention of elders both of them have joined together and decided to lead happy married life. Accordingly, the said divorce petition filed by the 1st petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn by the learned I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, on 07.02.2026. 3. I submit that in view of the above, I have no objection to allow this petition and consequently to quash the FIR and complaint in Crime No.53/2024 registered by the 1st respondent/police.
