JUSTICE SACHIN SHANKAR MAGADUM ORAL ORDER The captioned petition is by the class-1 contractor, who is aggrieved by the non consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 23.02.2026 through mail as per Annexure-E1 and E2. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State. Perused the records. 3. The petitioner, a Class–I contractor, was awarded a contract by the respondent–State for providing CT and MRI scan services under the National Free Diagnostics Services scheme. The petitioner contends that pursuant to the contract, he has been rendering the agreed services and that certain payments have become due and payable from the respondent– State. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is no dispute - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13403 WP No. 6982 of 2026 regarding the liability to pay the amounts due; however, the authorities have failed to disburse the balance payments despite repeated requests. 4. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner through e-mail will be examined by the competent authority and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law within a reasonable time. 5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Advocate, this Court proceeds to pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is disposed of; ii. The respondent–authority is directed to consider the petitioner’s e-mail representation dated 23.02.2026, produced at Annexures–E1 and E2, and take appropriate action for release of the pending payments, if found legally due, in accordance with law; - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13403 WP No. 6982 of 2026 iii. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; iv.
