The present writ petition raises challenge to the judgment and order dated 28th October 2025 passed by Administrative Tribunal Goa, in Municipal Appeal No.1/2022/ADM thereby upholding judgment and order dated 15th January 2021 passed by Director of Urban Development of Panaji, in case No.7/2018-DMA whereby the Petitioner's application for transfer of house tax pertaining to House Nos.384 and 385 located in the property bearing Survey No.68/1 of Valpoi Village, Sattari Taluka Goa, in the name of Petitioner on the basis of registered Gift Deeds dated 16th September 2011 and 13th January 2012 came to be rejected. 2. Learned Advocate appearing for Respondent No.2 informs 12th October, 2026 2026:BHC-GOA:2030 34 WP 494 2025 that wife of Respondent No.2 has assailed the aforesaid Gift Deeds in Regular Civil Suit No.29/2026 pending before the Civil Judge Junior Division, Valpoi Goa. In that view of matter, the dispute in the present writ petition is sub judice before Civil Court. Ultimately, the rights of parties would be governed by decree of Civil Court or any interim order to be passed by Civil Court. In this backdrop, this Court need not delve into the merits of the contentions of parties as regards the rights in respect of suit houses. 3. In result, writ petition stands disposed of. Parties shall be governed by orders to be passed by Civil Court in Regular Civil Suit No.29/2026. S. G.
