ORDER 09.01.2026 Heard Shri HM Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Shri RR Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel, Forest Department. This matter had come up for consideration on earlier dates, when time was granted to the learned Standing Counsel, Forest Department to obtain necessary instructions. Subsequently, the learned Standing Counsel of the Department has submitted that the order was passed on 15.05.2025 terminating the contract. Shri Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel has also placed before this Court a written instruction dated 07.01.2026 in this regard whereby the aspect of considering the reply of the petitioner not to be found satisfactory has also been incorporated. Though Shri Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the copy of the order dated 15.05.2025 has not been received by his client, the documents placed before this Court would show that a copy was indeed marked

order. A copy of the order dated 15.05.2025 and 07.01.2026 are made part of the records. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
