Page No.# 2/2 Mr. Chistie, learned counsel appearing for the respondent has placed on record an order dated 24.09.2025 passed by the Director of Secondary Education, Assam, rejecting the claim of the petitioner, herein, for being granted an advance increment for acquiring B.Ed. degree in the year 2010 from IGNOU. This Court has perused the order dated 17.05.2023 violation of which is alleged in the present contempt petition. On a perusal of the direction so passed, this Court finds that the direction passed by this Court has been substantially complied with by the respondents by issuing the order dated 24.09.2025. Accordingly, there being no violation of the directions passed by this Court vide order dated 17.05.2023 in WP(C) No. 6389/2022, the present contempt petition stands closed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to present a challenge to the order dated 24.09.2025, if so advised.
