It is submitted that the Applicant has deposited Rs.88,000/- before the Appellate Court and is depositing Rs.40,000/- today in the Registry of this Court. Therefore, the Applicant is now required to deposit only Rs.32,000/- towards the compensation. Registry is directed to accept the demand draft of Rs.40,000/- from 9th October, 2026 2026:BHC-GOA:2025 11 CRMA 246 2026 the Applicant. 3. In view thereof, Criminal Misc. Application bearing No. 246/2026 is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which reads as follows:- "a) That, pending the hearing and final disposal of the criminal revision filed by the Applicant, Impugned Conviction and Sentence made in Criminal case no. 18/OA/NIA/2020 dated 28/02/2025 made by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Pernem, Goa and confirmed by the Additional Sessions Judge-2, North Goa, Mapusa-Goa, in Criminal Appeal No. 100/2025 be stayed/ suspended." 4. It is submitted on behalf of the Applicant that remaining compensation amount shall be deposited by the Applicant on or before 16.11.2026. 5. Criminal Misc Application No. 246/2026 stands disposed of. 6. In view thereof, stand over to 19.11.2026. 7. Interim relief, granted earlier, to continue till the next date of hearing. 8.
