JUSTICE SACHIN SHANKAR MAGADUM ORAL ORDER The captioned petition is filed seeking the following reliefs: "i. Issue a writ of mandamus as direct to the respondent company as where the public concern program is ongoing category wise and while the categorical person are not available or they has no interest of establishment of program or they hasn't accommodation, then the company has modification of the category or giving the program to another eligible person, for protect the public interest. ii. Pass any other order as this Hon'ble court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case including an order as to costs in the interest of justice and equity." 2. On perusal of the reliefs sought in the captioned petition, this Court finds that the prayers are couched in broad and general terms. The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent company to modify the category of a program or allot the program to other eligible persons in - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14981 WP No. 378 of 2026 situations where the originally identified category persons are unavailable or unwilling. The reliefs as framed do not disclose any specific legal injury suffered by the petitioner nor do they indicate infringement of any legally enforceable right of the petitioner. In substance, the prayers seek issuance of general directions in the nature of public interest, which cannot be entertained in a petition of the present nature. 3. In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition. Accordingly, the captioned petition stands dismissed.
