Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. There was an altercation between the neighbours which resulted in the alleged incident. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that a group of individuals attacked the victim. The petitioner was the one who gave the particular blow. The victim suffered cut injury on a vital portion of the body like scalp that required five stitches for repair. 3. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
