Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Mr. Khaja Khutubuddin Shaik, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the complaint of the petitioner was not registered as an FIR, despite it being a Medico-Legal Case (MLC). 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the police have registered a case in Cr.No.44 of 2026 of Amaravathi Police Station, Palnadu District, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 118(1) and 79 of ‘the BNSS’, and the investigation is going on. 5. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the 3 Dr. YLR, J W.P.No.8979 of 2026 Dated 07.04.2026 Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent No.4 to bring the investigation to a logical conclusion in accordance with law. 6. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
