JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondents-1 to 4. Notice to other respondent is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. Learned Additional Government Advocate has raised a preliminary objection that having regard to the amendment brought to Section 136(1) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (for short 'KLR Act'), w.e.f., 10.01.2025, the petitioners will have to approach the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal questioning the impugned order passed by the Deputy Commissioner under Section 136(3) of the KLR Act. 3. Upholding the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Advocate, the writ petition stands dismissed while reserving liberty to the petitioners to approach the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal. However, the respondents are hereby directed not to take any - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7785 WP No. 1097 of 2026 precipitative action for a period of four weeks to enable the petitioner approach the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal. 4.
