Heard Mr. G. Alam, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. S. Dutta, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2. By filing this application, the applicant has prayed for impleadment of the Assam Board of Revenue, Guwahati, as party respondent No. 3 in the connected writ petition, being WP(C) No. 7396/2025. In the connected writ petition, the applicant has put to challenge the orders dated 16.11.2023, 28.08.2025 and 18.09.2025, passed in Case No. 64 RA(L)/2023 by the Assam Board of Revenue at Guwahati. The applicant contends that due to inadvertent mistake, the Assam Board of Revenue has not been arrayed as party respondent, although the said Board is a necessary party. Therefore, the applicant prays for impleadment of said Board as party respondent. Having considered that the Assam Board of Revenue would be a necessary party and also considering that the prayer of impleadment having been not opposed by the learned counsel for the respondents, I deem it appropriate to allow this application. Accordingly, the Assam Board of Revenue represented by its Chairman, Panbazar, Guwahati, District Kamrup (M), Assam, is allowed to be impleaded as party respondent No. 3 in the connected WP(C) No. 7396/2025.
