Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed on the post of Assistant Grade-III on probation of two years. She has completed probation period successfully and after completion of minimum period of service as provided under applicable service rules, she became eligible for promotion on the post of Assistant Grade-II. However, petitioner is apprehending that her candidature for promotion would not be considered and therefore petitioner may be permitted to submit representation before respondents No. 2 & 3 and concerned authority be directed to take decision on representation to be submitted by the petitioner at the earliest. 3. Learned counsel for the State/respondents submits that he is having no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 4. On due consideration of submission of learned counsel for the parties, without entering into merit of the case, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit representation before respondents No. 2 & 3 and in the event such representation is submitted by the petitioner, concerned authority shall consider and take decision on representation to be submitted by petitioner within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of representation.
