JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14857 WP No. 15236 of 2023 ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer. i) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus Directing the Respondents not to interference with the running of the business under the name and style of "M/s, Resto Cafe situated at No.42, Church Street, Bangalore-560001, providing hookah/smoking facility and running the restaurant, in accordance with law, under the guise of inspection, raids and harass the petitioner at regular and periodical intervals without any notice to the petitioner; and ii) Pass such other order as may be deemed appropriate under the circumstances of the case, in the ends of justice. 2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It is stated in the writ petition that the respondents are interfering with the petitioner's business and harassing the petitioner at regular and periodical intervals without any notice to the petitioner. 3. The learned High Court Government Pleader submits that the respondents are not interfering with the business activity of the petitioner. It is submitted that a crime is registered against the Managing Director of the petitioner and charge sheet was filed on 17.07.2020. The case is also closed. 4. Having heard the learned counsels on either side, perused the material on record. Considering the submission of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14857 WP No. 15236 of 2023 the learned High Court Government Pleader that the respondents are not interfering with the business activity of the petitioner, this Court is passing the following : ORDER i. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the business activities of the petitioner without following the due process of law. ii.
