Mr. Prithwiraj Biswas …for the petitioner Mr. Sardar Sahin Imam Mr. Amanul Islam ….for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that a fight broke out between two parties. Both sides sustained injuries, but none were grievous. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the injury report, which shows that injuries were inflicted on vital parts of the body like the occipital region, which required stitches for repair. There was also a lacerated cut injury inflicted on the fingers of the left hand. Considering the above, the other incriminating materials available in the case diary including the injury report and the statements of the victim and other witnesses, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
