Thashildhar Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District. ..Respondent(s) PRAYER – This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 5 to issue a separate Patta, Chitta, and Adangal in petitioner name in respect of Survey No.279/11 measuring an extend 0.22.0 Ares and 279/14 measuring an extent 0.08.0 Acres of Sellamandai Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District, within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Court, considering petitioner’s representation dated 12.02.2026. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 13847 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 For Petitioner(s): Mr.R.Ezhilarasan For Respondent(s): Mr.D.Ravichander, Special Government Pleader O R D E R The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that despite proceedings having been passed by the 4th respondent ordering for the grant of Patta, Chitta and Adangal in favour of the petitioner, till date, Patta, Chitta and Adangal have not been issued in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition. 2.The petitioner had given a representation on 12.02.2026 to the respondents 2 and 5 seeking for issuance of Patta, Chitta and Adangal in her name for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 11.06.2025. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the 4th respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for issuance of separate Patta, Chitta and Adangal in her name for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition in the light of the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 13847 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 11.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 4th respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for grant of Patta, Chitta and Adangal for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition in the light of the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 11.06.2025, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
